I found an Internet Police Scanner on ebay. Basically an Internet Police Scanner is a digital scanner used to pick up police/fire frequencies over the radio…..I was originally planning on purchasing a police scanner radio, however I would give this a try.

What do you think is better an Internet Police Scanner or a physical handheld police scanner and tell me why you choose that answer

What is the difference between a trunking scanner and a regular digital one? It’s hard for me to pick up any activity locally on my digital scanner and I know my frequencies are programmed in correctly. Would getting a trunking scanner improve my chances of picking up my local law enforcement. What is this “trunking” thing, anyway? Is it a new way of broadcasting that police agencies are switching to or something?
